verY good video I hace a 2000 Sportage and its sounds like that and I checked the brake pads but the sound came from the Cardan Bearing.

Is the transmission oil neets to be drained firs before take the shaft out of the the place? Or the oil wont come off if i take it out.

2007 Kia sorento… can't just replace the center support bearing… u joint is a mess!! Might as well buy the whole thing… I did that and now I'm back on the road!! Just letting you know

People at kia told me the bearing i bought was wrong… which was surprising…
So when I asked for the part number on the original part he gave me this.
Which is a sealed bearing. My quess was they dont want me coming back to complain, itll be good for the car, and THEY could sell it to me. Shoot they had overnight shipping. Deal give me it.
I KNOW my bearing i gave them was correct though….
They just didnt want to grease that crap…..

You need a brass hammer. Saves your tools when hammering on them.
Thought you were going with a sealed bearing.

I replaced the one on my sportage. It was a major pain. I bought the kit with the housing. I noticed the rubber is much firmer then the old, and I had to beat the fire out of it to get it off.
Suffix Radial internal clearance
C1 Less than C2
C2 Less than Normal
CN Normal, only used in combination with letters indicating reduced or displaced clearance range
C3 Greater than Normal
C4 Greater than C3
C5 Greater than C4
