Alex Delgado says:

Is not that easy you still going to end up taking to a dealer or repair shop. You forgot the rear 3 jajaja

Stan Markiewicz says:

believe the vehicle is a 6 cylinder , your half way done , ding dong

Philip Cole says:

I agree… the spark plugs all have the same part number..i.e same life expectancy… the plugs should always be replaced at the same time!!!!

Jonathan Snipes says:

Dumb blonde.

Jonathan Snipes says:

Explain how to replace back plugs.

Migzc90 says:

do u have any issues on this same kia model with the codes p0342 and p0343 which is the cam sensor high and low voltage?

Sid Calimlim says:

The front three spark plugs replacement is very informative. Can you make a video on how to replace the other 3 spark plugs at the back?

Sam Challis says:

I just replaced the plugs and wires on one …. and yes it goes without saying I did all 6. The lady I did the job for bought the car used and it’s clear that the previous owner did the front 3 plugs only because they were halfway decent while the 3 rear plugs had no electrode left they were so badly burnt. It is sad that there are so many people out there doing bang up auto repair jobs thinking they know what they doing and making a video of it.

MsMiriammorales says:

i went under the engine to get to the other 3 spark plugs without removing anything from the top. that was 3 years ago and i wonder if i should do it again and post a video since no one has post one where all the plugs are change 3 from the top and 3 from under .

ShawnsRepair Shawn says:

Never just replace the front three plugs. The back three if left in can fail after time if you don’t. It will take time however why only do half of the motor? I think an updated video for the back three would be nice. 16 mm and 5/8 are the same. Its normal to have to remove an upper intake on a lot of vehicles. Also might want to consider getting an upper intake gasket set first. It may be a special order and should be available same day if not the one day out. .

petemossinc says:

That’s incorrect AND the plug size is an 18 mm NOT 16. Just don’t even pop the hood on any vehicle ever again. Pay ANYONE else to work on it for you.

supertitan21 says:

well 16mm is the same as 5/8

zrichzo7 says:

That is not correct, the front 3 has the same life as the rear 3 plugs

petemossinc says:

Also THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A 16MM SPARK PLUG SOCKET.

petemossinc says:

Also REMOVE THE NEGATIVE FROM THE BATTERY FIRST.

petemossinc says:

Amazing that you would change 3 spark plugs. Who the hell uses a drill to remove those tiny fasteners? Did you see how much dirt and gravel you left laying near the spark plug holes?
YOU SUCK.

mattelderca says:

This ignition system uses a lost spark coil setup. Chanigng only the front plugs will leave people with a false sense of accomplishment. All plugs must be changed at the same time or you could actually cause more problems than it’s worth. You could be dragging around a weak cylinder causing excessive oil consumption and poor fuel economy. Let for any length of time and you could cause irreparable engine wear or damage. Please people, do proper maintenance on your vehicles!

Charles Brown says:

I just did this job as I had to remove the upper Intake manifold to replace all of the rear cooling lines job sucks you really got to do all six Dealer wanted $475 just for the cooler lines I’d be willing to bet the labor on just the spark plugs should be at least $350

Tffny Louise says:

thank now i can do my own spark plugs since the dealer ship wants to charge me 350 bucks. grazi girly!

Ray R says:

Man That Sucks!! Why in the Fuck n Kia Built that Shit That Way just too make people go thru more stress and dish out more money… damn they sure dont built engines like they use to simple!!

TFCfan2021 says:

this job is a bastard, especially the back 3 plugs….

TheMoloneyClan says:

I agree with some of the comments made showing a drill being used or electric rattle gun is a bit of a no no on spark plugs .
As for the rear plugs if they are like the 3.5ltr magnas than the rear three are totally different and a dam site more expensive , they are usually good for i believe 100,000 km so in saying that it was a good video for the basic front plug change out .

Jackson Area Reef Club says:

The reason it costs a bit of money to replace plugs is due to the labor involved in getting to the back 3 plugs. You haven’t changed out your plugs unless you change all of them. I’m not sure why you would want to change only 3 of 6 plugs. It is ridiculous. The ones in the back last longer?? They are the same plugs. You don’t buy special plugs for the rear. Leave the rear 3 and it will eventually cost you much more later on after they seize and cause damage during removal.

Afzaal Ahmad says:

Never show the viewers using an impact gun to remove/install spark plugs (unless the plug is really tight and if it is then let them know that you cant use an impact gun to put the plugs back) also I am not gonna mention about the rest of the three plugs?? because the other viewers have already mentioned it above.

Daniel Treadway says:

If you want to post a video on how to change spark plugs you should do all six. This is the right way to install. The first part is good but viewers need all the info. Thanks and good luck

festerwi says:

there are 3 on the rear under the manifold. They will be very hard to get too. You should really change all 6 at the same time. They would NOT put different plugs in the back. Just want to make sure people get the correct information.

Frank Freay says:

Unfortunately because of time restriction I was only able to show you that you can save money on just doing the front 3 spark plugs. Yes, there are 3 more plugs underneath the manifold and yes you will be charged a lot more for the replacement of the 3 rear plugs, but at the same time the 3 plugs in the rear have longer life to them. Thank you for your concerns.

bhwalton says:

lets see you do the three other plugs mechanic wanna be

ThePariss333 says:

BEAUTIFULL VIDEO, I LEARNED A LOT,BUT YOU FORGOT ABOUT THE OTHER THREE BEHIND. THEY ARE SIX SPARK PLUGS,NOT THREE.

ThePariss333 says:

YES, YOU ARE RIGHT, WHAT THE OTHER THREE SPARK PLUGS BEHIND? DID YOU FIND THE ANSWER?

festerwi says:

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa what about the 3 on the rear bank?

Debi Freay says:

Great video…found it to be very informative!!!
