2015 Kia Optima EX Pioneer AVIC 8100NEX / ND-BC8 Install

2015 Kia Optima EX Pioneer AVIC 8100NEX / ND-BC8 Install

A couple things to note in this video. There will be a part 2 to this video. There were some issues to work out and I want to include them for people that want to do something similar but want to avoid the headaches of interfacing new equipment in a new car that hasn’t been out very long. I also want to say that it’s not necessarily a bad idea to get that steering wheel module. When I looked on the Axxess website it said that this year and make and model wasn’t supported yet so that means a call into tech support would probably go a long way. I’ll go into that more in the second video so make sure to check that video out if you want to know more details about how to work the bugs out. BIG SHOUT out to Thomas for doing this for me. I’m like a fiend when it comes to car audio. I had this 1000 dollar head unit just staring at me in the box and it was driving me crazy. I would have filmed the head unit completely installed but we were freezing and I had a 3 hour drive to knock out but all the more reason to check out the next video! Thanks for watching!

This is basically worthless for anyone really, but a tiny help for someone with the same basic car that needs to see how some of those trim pieces come off. As for installing that camera, zero help.

Was that a Spongebob Square Pants soundtrack that came out of the CD player?

i wired my factory back up camera into my Kenwood no problem, just military spliced a couple wires. Also used a Maestro interface for my steering wheel controls and seemed a lot easier than what you have going on.

BUVE 374 says:

It would of been nice if he could of made a video setting up the harness
