Are the sensors in the same locations on a 08 model and are there 6 total that need to be replaced?
It would sort of stutter and surge upon acceleration. I replaced the TPS and it helped the problem dramatically, but didn’t totally fix the spotty/inconsistent acceleration. Replacing the spark plugs (again) fixed the problem fully. So if TPS doesn’t solve the problem on its own, you’ll need to do the plugs. The front 3 are easy, but the back 3 are a freaking nightmare to get to.
Sorry for the late response, but for those that are wondering, you do need to carefully note the position of the original sensor before you remove it, because I think the new one needs to be in the same position. Although, I forgot this, and mine turned out just fine and passed emissions.
i would like to know the same
Funny how car companies put that plastic cover to pretty things up and when you remove it the engine is ugly as fuck lol.
amazing that kia puts parts on that dont even last 10 years….on another note, that engine compartment is freakin dirty dude. you must live on a dirt road or somethin…
Thanks for the video. I am needing to replace this on my Moms van and wasn’t sure where it was located. Now I know. Once again, thanks for the video.
do you have to reset anything after replacing this or just plug it in and go?
Perfect, Thanks for the Video.
What was your sedona doing before you replaced the tps? Mine sometimes doesnt respond when you press the accelerator and someone told me it could be the tsp
