This was the same problem I had with my WK 2005, I did exactly as mentioned
in this video and the problem was solved. It took me like 40mins. Saved me
$1000. Thank you for sharing this information!

I’m glad to help! Hopefully you found this video relatively quick. I
searched the web for weeks trying to find anything to help before stumbling
on the video mentioned in the description above. Anyway, thanks for the
positive feedback. It’s good to know it helped you fix your problem.

Just curious, what problems with the a/c does this clogged drain cause? I
am having issues with my a/c clutch coming on when I start the Jeep, but it
stops shortly after and refuses to engage again. Just want to check
everything I can before I take it in.

Eric Platt says:

The first problem we had was a gurgling noise when taking a left hand
turn. After a while it started hissing (like water dripping on a hot stove
top burner) after the gurgle. Before long it started pouring water from
under the passenger side dashboard of the jeep grand cherokee. These were
our only symptoms. For some reason turning left would allow the
condensation to run over the collection plate and into the floorboard.
Unclogging this drain pipe fixed the problem. Havent had any issues since
