were was the 33′ Bfg’s

robbieurschel9 says:

Hi it’s Rob I found a toll free number to call teraflex myself THANKS for
all your help I’m getting the same 3″ set up with the 4 flex arms and
upgraded front track bar. Can you pick your colour in the coil springs or
do they come in yellow????? Thx

robbieurschel9 says:

Weeks of researching lifts and I want the one you have do you have a part #
for your lift so I can see it on their website? Did your front level out
with the back of your JK or did you need spacers up front? What does the
superchip do? Thx from Canada

Serewrangler says:

how hard was it to install yourself? im at a Air Force base and they have
auto hobby shop here… i was thinking of getting a buddy to help me
instead of paying some guy 300 bucks to do it.

Jim Kerr says:

@robbieurschel9 I installed the TF 3″ lift kit without shocks. I installed
OME Nitro shocks. I like the OME ride. It isn’t shown in this video, but I
added an ExpeditionOne front bumper w/a Warn winch. It dropped the front
down about 3/4″. I installed a 1/2″ spacer to get it close to level. It now
has about a 1/4″ drop/rake in the front. Superchips is a programmer that
adjusts the shift points, throttle response and ignition timing to greatly
improve driveability.

LM0575 says:

Did you keep the stock arms? And did you have to do any mods to the
drivshaft?

jnkchicago says:

Zone makes a good lift. I almost went with zone. In this video I have
standard Rubicon tires and rims. They are 32″ KM2′ tires and I black powder
coated the 17″ rims. I now have ATX Thug rims and Goodyear Duratrack
315-70r17’s.

Jim Kerr says:

I wish I could lift it more. I live in Chicago and can’t get it into the
parking garages.

Dan Goldhahn says:

I was wondering what size tires are those because i want to lift mine but i
dont want to go too high and have the tires look small.

jeff parcel says:

I dont know if it has been said yet, but. It is a lot better to mess with
the trac bar while the vehicle is at ride height. If you do it while in the
air, it is not only a pain to line up. But when you torque it to th 180lbs
spec, you will have a binding issue with that bushing. That casues death
wobble. I installed a similar kit on mine at an Army base. It took me 8
hours by myself, but half that time was spent waiting in line for tools.
Hope somebody finds this useful

USMC8654 says:

total cost with new tires?

DaDudez14 says:

nice jeep bro! i am getting mine in a few months! can’t wait!

marcrockett says:

@vanwieisme I believe stock tire size is 255/75/R17

BREAKING THA LAW BREAKING THA LAW

e0987c5t3 says:

I am extremely jealous and envious of you right now. That is exactly how I
want my JK to be. I bet you feel like driving on clouds with those OME
shocks. I hopefully will be able to purchase the Teraflex coil lift with
OME shocks in the summer, and the wait it killing me. Your JK rig is
freakin amazing. Nice work! Any chance you live in TX?? I know that sounds
creeperish, but I could use some expertise installing all my parts to my JK
Thanks, ‘preciate it

deercommander11 says:

thats amazing bro ive got the same jeep with a 3 inch zone off road lift
and 33’s. ive also got pro comp rims. yours looks just as good if not
better than mine. what size tires are those?

vanwieisme says:

@jamesnkerr oh. because im thinking about getting a 2″ lift for mine, but i
cant really afford bigger tires, so i wasnt wondering if it would look bad
or not.

Jim Kerr says:

@LM0575 I didn’t want to modify the drive line either. 3″ or less works
well on a 4-door. I tow trailers and take long road trips with my Jeep and
haven’t had any issues.

Dustin Reel says:

needs like 8in lift with 35 or 38s to look good

tuk2332 says:

how have the spidertrax spacers treated you i also just purchased this
lift. do you have to keep an eye on these alot or are they very reliable

Jim Kerr says:

@vanwieisme It has 35’s now. I had to change the suspension before I could
run the larger tires.

Lana Jennings says:

how much did this lift cost?

Miguelcoolio says:

how much was it overall?

Maurice Armenta says:

What size wheels?

robbieurschel9 says:

Sorry another question but you are being soooo helpful. Did you get the kit
with the Flex arms included??? And what about a drop pitman arm????? Thx a
million

robbieurschel9 says:

Great thx alot the painted coils look great what type if paint should I
look for brand etc were they easy to paint and will they last

vanwieisme says:

stock size tires?

despinav72 says:

@TEXASFIGHT2010 by painting them powder coat..geez

WoundDragon says:

What size wheels are you running?

Jim Kerr says:

@uncleflaco I couldn’t agree more. A Lift should only be as high as you
need. When someone goes over 3″, they introduce complexity and driveability
suffers. There are a ton of posts on the web about Death Wobble and axle
alignment issues after a lift for a reason. Sure it can be done, but most
of the time it makes the V6 pretty much useless on the highway.

Jim Kerr says:

I have 35’s and have made quite a few changes since this video was made. I
am as high as I can go and be able to fit into a garage. I clear my door by
.5″

Jim Kerr says:

@robbieurschel9 I only have upper & lower control arms for the front. I
didn’t need them in the rear. If you need rear, upper is the one you will
probably need. I painted the springs myself. They only come in black. FYI,
if you want to talk to an expert on this stuff call northridge4x4. They
rock!

Michael Bayles says:

nice vid i’m thinking about getting a jeep wrangler unlimeted what do
recommend

MrFito76 says:

The jeep looks awesome, great job.

robbieurschel9 says:

Thank you …. I’m in Canada so I know it’ll cost more here but what did
the kit cost you with the shocks? The shocks that come with the kit do you
know anything about them? If they’re any good? Finally is there only one 3″
teraflex kit or different versions in 3″ ? I’m putting on a XHD bumper with
stinger… Thx Rob from Canada

NeverIsSummah says:

how much it the lift kit and installation?

Leigh Wilmot says:

@gdonfreeman1 you can. I just put the teaflex 3″ in my 2009 jk and it works
like a dream. Makes the car look begger because or the smaller tyres

TheRoyalCelt says:

Nice looking jeep!

zuzukazoo says:

This is exactly what i wanna do but with a 4″ lift but i have to get my
license first but before that i have to get my permit and i also plan on
keeping it mostly stock espeacialy rims but i wanna get bigger tires but
idk what size i should get and do i have to get a chip for it too ?

Max Bockelmann says:

I Got a 4″ teraflex lift on my jeep and I get 13″ if travel in front when I
take 2 pins out

Tishmeister1992 says:

was this a suspension lift kit, or body lift?

eamonkeanez says:

Lol youre jeep looks like a hummer compared to my uncles wrangler

gdonfreeman1 . says:

@jamesnkerr hey im thinking of getting a 3 inch lift for my 2003 jeep
wrangler and im new to adding on lift kits and stuff and could i still use
my 33’s on my jeep

bader175 says:
