Just did the job tonight, if you remove the bracket holding the compressor
with the compressor you have enough room to just swing the alternator down
and pull it out, it pretty much falls out.

Thank you very much for the helpful video on how to do this. I cussed
entirely to freaking much. All I have to say is you can tell the engineers
that designed this have never been mechanics! They should suffer for this
stupid and idiotic design. My personal opinion is The A/C compressor needs
to be removed for easier removal and instillation. This better be the last
alternator I ever put in my Compass!!!

price great, but i can see the trouble with the alternator and i was
planing on upgrading mines to a high output alternator
