Just purchased a 2014, still long to go…but thanks
so can you get the pulley without replacing the entire alternator?my
girlfriends jeep sounds horrible because of the tensioner and jeep wants to
charge 750 without tax unreal
How long did this take you?
Just did the job tonight, if you remove the bracket holding the compressor
with the compressor you have enough room to just swing the alternator down
and pull it out, it pretty much falls out.
I dont even have 60k on mine and I have to replace it
Thank You God bless….
Thank you very much for the helpful video on how to do this. I cussed
entirely to freaking much. All I have to say is you can tell the engineers
that designed this have never been mechanics! They should suffer for this
stupid and idiotic design. My personal opinion is The A/C compressor needs
to be removed for easier removal and instillation. This better be the last
alternator I ever put in my Compass!!!
Wow!!! Thanks,
i was interested in getting the 2012 jeep compass they are really new and
price great, but i can see the trouble with the alternator and i was
planing on upgrading mines to a high output alternator
