Thank you for the vid! Keep up the good work!

Jennie Tornatore says:

Thank you so much! We were lost with no included instructions!!!

Eric whitney says:

Thanks again, took ours off yesterday, used your video to start and stop
along the way. It took all we had to stretch the top into place. 2014
Rubicon. Latching the front was really hard.

We did install the electric winch / lift in the garage first, that made the
first step really easy.

Question for you, when the top is flipped back in thesunrider position, is
that highway speed safe? or is it more for local road speeds? Just want to
make sure we don’t have it blow back

Thanks again.

soccercup8 says:

You should do a video on installing aux lights now.

Heiko Meyer says:

Vielen Dank aus Deutschland!!!!!

frustration.

bsta93 says:

Great work on this vid.

Arjun Patel says:

I have tried and tried but i cant get the front of the roof to latch to the
windshield. Left the car with the soft top unlatched in the sun to let it
stretch but still nothing. Do you have any advice?

Stephen Emo says:

Great video, watched it last night and again just before changing tops on
my three week old, 2014 Wrangler Unlimited Sahara. Both hard and soft tops
were installed in the factory and that’s how my Jeep arrived. Someone
mentioned below that there are little nylon straps that have to be removed
from a metal loop before you can raise it. Also it was very difficult to
clamp down the front of the roof to the windshield…seemed like it was a
half inch too far back. Finally got it though (and we’re still married!).
Thanks again!

soccercup8 says:

Nice job on the video.

Brad Bognar says:

Ok question for you. Just got my 2014 Wrangler 2DR, and I’m looking to get
a soft top. The problem is the ones that the dealership sells are $1800
dollars and I’m really not looking to pay that much. I found this listing
on Ebay, but I can’t seem to find if this isn’t just total crap. Mind
helping me out?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2010-2014-Jeep-Wrangler-2-Door-Replacement-Soft-Top-with-Tinted-Rear-Windows/360932222363?_trksid=p2046732.c100040.m2060&_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140107095009%26meid%3D7735421694865360610%26pid%3D100040%26prg%3D20140107095009%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D360932222363

If this is a legit thing, then is it worth the cost? You seem like you know
what you’re doing so i figure you’ll be of good help. Thanks!!

Chogers says:

Great video but I don’t know how you did the first part. I used it to
install my new 2014 Soft Top but man I had the hardest time lining up the
first two brackets on the roll bar on both sides! No matter how I set the
top on the back I could not bend them spring loaded hinges to fit. I
basically had to install everything else first and then I was able to get
the angle right to put them torx screws into the roll bar. They were
already installed on the soft top frame by the way.

Wing Lui says:

Hi, we put our soft top on today. The passenger side window seems too
long. It does not lock onto the edge by the door, it seems too long to
catch into the channel. Also, do we need to remove the entire soft top if
we want to put the hard top back on? Thanks!

Alessandro P says:

great video tutorial, thanks for uploading

Kim Shoemake says:

Thank you so much for your time-I might have figured it out but I’m a
little nervous that I may have forgotten something-oh I added rear window
bar clips-if you see something missing from my list I would greatly
appreciated any input-Your video has been more informative than two
dealerships and many websites.

Jake Landsberg says:

On my new wrangler jku the front latches are very hard to close and latch.
Is this normal when new and it will loosen up like in your video?

Tom DeLellis says:

Great, installed the soft top on my 2014 yesterday Thank you. What are the
brand of your wheels ?

Johnny Fever says:

I think it is missing one detail, on the 2014 there is a nylon strap with a
metal snap on it that needs to be unhooked and slid back on the frame,
after you slide it back you snap it to the frame for safe keeping. The
purpose of the strap is to help keep all the spring loaded parts of the
frame where they need to be. Other than that the video seems complete.

Btw I didn’t watch the entire video just the part I suspected might be
missing this 2014 specific information so if he mentioned it later I
apologize. I just know I had a heck of a time understanding the manual and
almost cut the straps until I realize what it needed to do.

Michael Viscardi says:

Did the cloth come pre-installed to the bracket? Or did you have to attach
that separately?

Kim Shoemake says:

i bought a used 2012 Jeep wrangler sahara 4 door with soft top mounted
already-what I was not told was that the two boxes(windows and
hardware)were missing-do you have the actual part names & numbers for the
(2) zip in windows-the zip in back window-(2)L window channels-(2)straight
window channels-(2)short handle screws-(4)long handle screws-I’m trying to
get dealer to order and pay for it

bigandybc says:

Great video, thank you.
Can you put the hard top back on without removing any parts or does it have
to all come off?

aland925 says:

I just bought a soft top for my son’s 2011 JK off craigslist. I watched
this video and your other one 5 or 6 times before we attempted to put the
pieces together and to make sure we got all of the hardware we needed. I
had to stop to watch the video 2 more times while we were installing it.
Went on just as you explained. Thanks for the info.

debbie h says:

great video! this is our second jeep – we have the 2014 sahara 2 door.
There is a change is the soft top – on the sides by the door windows,
there is no longer a groove to insert the plastic tab of the soft top (like
the bottom of the soft windows). It just lays there, and flaps in the
breeze!!! any idea of what we might be doing wrong? almost seems as
though it is a design flaw or should be magnetic…. appreciate an info
you can give!! thanks!

Mike Ludd says:

Great video. Much better than the Mopar ones. Just got home with 2014
Unlimited Altitude edition and am headed out to take the hardtop off.
Thanks again !!!
