Part 2 of 2 – How to install an exhaust (muffler) and catalytic converter at home with no welder, cutting torch, or plasma cutter. This is how to install a new muffler and catalytic converter with basic home tools. I show you how I connected the exhaust pipes using exhaust clamps and some sealant.

Hey i have a question about your transmission skid plate. What did you use to block it up below the frame. i assume you did that so it wouldnt get a bunch of debris in between frame and mount? Mine looks pretty rough in that area so its on my to do .

What about the front hanger by transmission? Having your front pipe unsupported might be why you had the exhaust leak.

how much did the materials cost you? cat, muffler, pipes, sealant and etc. i need to replace mine and this looks like a good solution.
