How close to a jeep Cherokee Sport XJ would this video be??? Thanks
How many miles did you put on the JK before it needs ball joint
replacement?
Great music
Harbor freight….LOL !!!! I have broken 3 OTC presses doing BJ’ts here in
the rust belt. WoW i can only dream of stuff going that smooth…
Thanks for the video. I was able to follow it and change out my ball joints
today. The lower ones were pretty wobbly but it didn’t fix my death wobble.
(I also replaced my steering stabilizer.)
Loose. Lift your front end, then wiggle the wheel – check for any movement
around the ball joints.
nice video… applies to my grand cherokee more or less too so this was
good info.
@14goldmedals I don’t recall exactly why, but that didn’t work. I wouldn’t
try anything other than what’s in the video. If you do, there’s a good
chance you’ll screw up the threads on a ball joint.
That’s a 1/2″ drive impact wrench. Not a drill.
Great Video! Thanks for taking the time to make it.
our 98 Grand Cherokee has the death wobble on driver side Im going to
change out the Ball joints and tie rod ends.Hope that will do it. she still
runs strong with 215k on it all original.
Thank you Brett! Couldn’t have done this project without your video.
getting that upper on is hard! If you’re a first timer at this, follow this
video religiously. Also plan on at least 4 hours, took me 6. And get a long
breaker bar.
This was a while ago and I honestly don’t recall. Maybe someone else can
chime in here.
I never remove the axle nut just get the three hub bolts off pull the
entire shaft out and bam you got access to the balljoint nuts
Thank you for the vid,,,,so you had no prob taking the bearings off on both
sides?
Thank you for the video, I’m about to do this to my JK today. Just for
future reference and for others, you do Not need to remove the hub to pull
the axle. You can skip the step where he removed the 35mm Nut. Thanks again.
how did that battery drill take off a tight nut like that??
@2012goingNutz Ball joints wearing out seems to be all over the place. My
factory parts lasted about 45K miles. Many last far less.
mamaaaaaaaaaaaaa ooooooooooooooooowoooooaaaaahahoooooooooooooooooo
thanks for that video sir !!!
Great video how long does it take per side…
