I dont know jeep but cummins fan clutch is set to 145° engagement. My 1st gen cant afford to loose 25hp( cummins specis 25-75hp to run the fan) stock is 160 flywheel so 130ish to the tire
Just lock the clutch in. I drilled 4 holes through mine and put pop rivets in. Locked er up tight
I just removed the clutch fan out and go with a electric fan much better and saves the water pump
thanks helped when my fan clutch went out and needed to get home

That fan probably take 50 horsepower when locked up like that.

Newer jeeps have t stats and it’s all controlled electric in the pcm or ecm
That will cost you on torque and eventually fuel. Did you ask Jeep to see if there is a newer design or a recall?
