Jennifer Adorno says:

what if i have changed the filter but it doesn’t start?
what do i do?

bill bixby says:

For the 350 they are going to drop the tank and actually clean it. Fuel
system cleaners drop the dirt off in the tank & the extra dirt will make
you need another pump in about a year when it rusts out early or fails due
to the sludge that wasn’t cleaned by dropping the tank. Also change the
fuel filter.

Jimmy B says:

Take a long handle screw driver and put the end on the tank, and the other
end (handle) to your ear. Have someone turn the key on for you. You should
hear the pump run for two seconds. If not, the fuel pump is burned out.
This happens a lot when people run their vehicles out of gas. Gotta prime
the system (by turning key on and off like 6 x’s) before you just start
cranking the motor over. You just burn the pump out spinning it dry when
you’re outta gas.

xavier vazques says:

amigo el filtro regulador que va en la bomba necesita una linea de vacio
como esta en el tanque como se la conecta si esta dentro

Autotechviewpoint says:

ASSuming you have called the dealership, though they may not have stuff for
something that old. Why do you need that part, or how do you know that you
need the pressure regulator assembly. No luck at salvage yards?

Autotechviewpoint says:

Yes, did not drop the tank, so as you see if it is full, gas will come out.

Autotechviewpoint says:

May want to try some premium gasoline, or fuel injector cleaner to start
with. maybe an injector problem, dirty?

Autotechviewpoint says:

Well, need to check the basics with a cranks over but won’t start.. fuel
pressure, and spark to start with.

Autotechviewpoint says:

I do not know exactly but pretty sure that came a few years later.
mid-90’s… Stay Original Equipment.

Matt Blank says:

Which models come with a self-regulating pump? Will it work with a ’90, or
would I need to replace my fuel rail?

montez292 says:

Jacob Day says:

I went to a junk yard. They had a ton of fuel pump sending units stored in
the back.

xavier vazques says:

en el minuto 428 aparce el filtro regulador pero si se da cuenta la salida
que se ve donde se la conecta expliqueme por favor

Dack Lowery says:

This was done without dropping the tank, correct? It’s mounted the side of
the tank versus on top? My mother needs hers replaced and is being quoted
$350, which I find is a little steep.
