Took me a minute to figure out what I was looking at was what I was looking
for, but I pulled the relay (which had some nasty tape holding it in by the
way) went to O Reilly’s and paid like $8 and now I’m good to go. Your vid
saved me tons of money sir, many thanks to you!

people would do that ? A short list I think. Most people would fix it and
go eat dinner.
They sure do – but it makes it easy to look up the problems anyway as there
are so many people having the problems and people with the fixes. The
bright side ehhh !

Really don’t need to remove the steering column plastic pieces. Just the
kick panel and metal plate behind it need to go!
also if u know where there might be a relay for the washer pumps let me
cause the front and back stopped at the same time and the wipers still
work. or do u think it is the pump its self? if u have any idea let me know

I watched this video and it was EXACTLY what was wrong with my 2002 Jeep
Grand Cherokee. The part was $45 and it took me about 1/2 hour and I
finally got my left turn signal back after nearly 2 years. π Thanks!!!
Thnaks for this video, I own a 200 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, it took me
about 45 minutes to get it all done. Saved me $1200.00, thats what the
dealer quoted me. 58.00 for the parts, you can do the math. Thanks again
for posting this, it was a great help!!

@littlejewl2002 Look at the fuse box under the hood, there are a few in
there that control windows and pums etc.. π
just one thing im trying to get my indercator unit but cant seem to get it
out because the spring on the high beam is gone its attached to the
indercator unit if u can help thnxs

your video…went to PepBoys for relay switch…paid $11…replaced it..
Mechanic would have charged me $35 dollars to diagnose and fix (part not
included). Now I can have plenty of beer on your behalf!

Great video – Thank you- – -I’m having trouble getting the plastic cover
that covers the metal heat shield — There are three screws holding the
plastic cover on – but then it’s stuck on. How do you get the plastic cover
off?

i want to write u and say thanks because we have been look ALL over the
internet on every stupid site that is out there and could not find the
location of the flasher relay, it was driving us nuts!!! and u are right it
only took not even a half hour and was very easy to change. again thanks to
you!!!
I love this guy. I was able to fix this on my own right before I went to
work and I’m a 20year old girl. If you all can’t figure it out that’s a

how did you get that cover off? I’ve got a 03 and can see the relay just
can’t see how to get past that heat shield to get it off
First of all, let me tell all of you watching this video that you DO NOT
need to take the plastic parts of the steering column apart. Just take the
screws off on the plastic external cover ( underneath) then it pops right
off, Then, take the heat shield off. I just took the top two screws off and
left it hinged at the bottom w/out removing it totally. My relay cost me
$11.00 at Murrys O’Reillys auto part. I found it easily because it would
buzz when I turned flashers on. Easy Fix.
The first plastic piece in front of the heat shield, how do you take that
off? I got the screws underneath towards pedals but it feels like there
another but I can’t see where.? And out of curiosity what is this piece
called
