No fuse for the winch? You’re Kidding ?

AppArmsPA says:

So much easier to install the 4 winch bolts before mounting the bumper back on .

WELDERUP666 says:

EXCELLENT VIDEO!!! THANKZZ FOR SHARING!!!

Ring Dave says:

oopps BAD. put the winch in Before the bumper. Most winches will NOT fit into the bumper opening.
Remove bumber, Install winch plate, install winch, and then put bumper back on.
Bolt temp on winch plate for winch alignment; BAD idea.
I purchased a MOPAR winch plate. the front bolts interfered with the bumper plate for the bumper bolts.
ground the bolts down some and notched the plate on the bumper.

Did you find that the Blue Ox base plate catch on anything when you are offroading. COuld you discribe or show a template of want you had to cut off of the steel skid plate? Thanks for your help.

Great video. Thanks for sharing!

Naaman Geist says:

Now to replace that hook with a shackle mount and store it behind the license plate, saving the paint on the bumper and recovery hook. Then you can lose the gorilla tape also. Question: Do these ZEON winches come with wireless remotes or do we have to purchase them separately?

Bendmac Manufacturing says:

Where's the winch plate link ?

Dick Wooden says:

Very helpful and a quality video with tools and bloopers

The Dude Abides says:

Warn 10s Winch is $750 (Amazon), and the Winchplate is only…$300?! 1/2 the cost of a new winch? WTF?

Jose Acosta says:

I really liked your video, simple and easy to follow. Just out of curiosity, do you have the video on how to install the winch plate? If you don't, where I can find one that it's as good as yours?

Great how-to video!

KD6TAV says:

sweet! I have the same winch. I need to get a cover!

Harry Perez says:

what is the make and model of that license plate holder?

Jeff Schmidt says:

Thanks for the great video. I’m curious why you don’t install the winch on the plate before you put the bumper back on. Would seem easier? What am I missing?

T J says:

To bad that POS gonna fail

Fmlywgn says:

Different approach from the other videos I've seen for the install. Definitely eliminates the pain of getting the 4 bumper nuts on

Bow Valley Adventures says:

Looks great…is the metal base plate an extra from Warn?…thanks.

John Sharrard says:

Thanks for the video. Perfect timing since I was in the process of figuring out what package of winch, tow bar, and winch plate would work with my OEM steel bumper package. Question, did you have to do any grinding, cutting, or any other mods to get that tow bar attachment point to fit ?

PT Britton says:

thanks for listing all the tools needed, that really helped!

Félix Bouchard says:

Hi ! Does the weight of the winch make the JLUR lean forward ? About to do the same and wondering if I need to also put .5" spacer to front suspension ? Thanks

Phillip Craggs says:

I've never seen the bumper put on before the winch. I didn't know the winch would fit in the cavity from the top.

essedbl777 says:
