Mr Bleepinjeep, I have a question. I did what you said in the video and it
worked great for a short time, but after a few weeks my steering wheel was
not straight any more, so I did it again. Then after a few more weeks my
steering wheel was out again. Any ideas what’s going wrong? Thanks.

Brandon Rice says:

Theoreticly here if you disconnected the steering wheel from the bar that
comes out of the firewall which is just 1 bolt couldnt you then straighten
your steering wheel and rebolt it in the straight position?

You should make the same video but with a stock xj.

Cool video thanks a lot…. But I was wondering if this is gonna work on my
f350…?

Larry New says:

This does NOT work on vehicles that have a sleeve for each wheel. You have
to adjust both sleeves. One clockwise and the other counter-clockwise
depending on which way the steering wheel is leaning and both exactly the
same amount of turns otherwise you are only turning one wheel in or out
thus screwing op the alignment and for those who say just pull the steering
wheel they only fit in one position, they have a slot they fit into. Post
this under You-tube dumbass videos!

Excellent presentation. Explanation very short, sharp & straight to the
point. Easy to understood theory & practical. I liked your way of tutorial,
slow & calm. Double thumbs up to you for your very useful info & tips. You

If you adjust the tie-rod it will affect your alignment toe in or toe out.
Don’t touch the tie rod unless you need to adjust the alignment.

pwcraig says:

new bracket on the axle to raise the track bar. the track bar will need to
be shorter. all bump steer will be gone.

Bryan Ellefson says:

So if your pitman is towards the back and your steering wheel is still not
correctly alighned then what? What about centering so that your steering
wheel turns as far to the left as to the right while keeping steering wheel
centered????
