Hey I can’t find the gaskets or oil filter housing

Have exact same JK, year, color … local garage failed to solve P000B and now dealer is telling me $2145 ($1366 in parts) to replace everything it could possibly be, essentially. Do you recommend any resources for walking yourself through these types of decisions, understanding the cost/value of the situation? Everything was fine until I hit 70K but the last 4K has been a nightmare – feels like I got a lemon – love it but feel like I'm being forced into a corner where can't afford to keep it, too much risk for my modest living. No mechanical skills here what-so-ever. Any thoughts, wisdom appreciated.

Alex says:

There are also gaskets under the lower intake manifold. The lower intake manifold needs to be removed to access these gaskets.

L Crawford says:

I've done this twice and have a fuel smell while the Jeep is stopped. I replaced the intake gaskets again thinking I did something wrong and still fuel smells in the vent when not moving. Any ideas?

Gerald Gutierrez says:

Awesome step by step details. Although not mentioned, this process was useful in helping replace a nylon fuel line… "THANK YOU!"

Good job. I will be changing my plugs soon. Your video really helps. Would you do the coils when you do the plugs? Thanks.
