I just got a huge dent and my tail light cracked I guess a pick up or something hit me
I pulled off the worthless plastic bumper and threw it away. Now I have a stainless steel bumper. Let the idiots bump into now. In fact, I have seen evidence that someone has bumped it because of a grey line of paint I found on it recently. I had to laugh when I found the grey scuff on it. I knew for a fact the other car must have had a massive dent. I just ordered the stainless still triple hoop front bumper. I am filling them with sand. Let them run into the bumpers now.
The after market pricing is so cheap ; just buy another one
Where did you get the black wax pad( don't know what to call it) to remove the screw marks on your bumper?
Thanks for the video, I'm going to try this on my stock bumper to try to get a dent out.
Get a piece of 1/4" welding rod and put a 90 degree bend in it. About 2" in the one leg. Drill a 1/4" hole in the back of the bumper opposite the dent. Insert the bent part of the rod, heat up the bumper and when hot enough push the dent out from the rear. When done, remove the rod and patch the hole. Bumper is fixed. I used that method a couple times on my TJ.
Great video. $20 for a heat gun and saved me some money. . The key is small hole, the first one I drilled was too big but lucky is lower on the number. The second one, was with the smallest bit I had, screw still went in and filled easily. I used a lighter to melt the plastic (instead of sanding) around the hole and used it to fill the small hole. For the bigger, same thing and then a dab of silicone, waterproof caulk.
you should have tried pouring hot water instead of drilling holes.

Had that happen when mine was two weeks old, thought of doing the same thing, put a screw in it, a pull with a claw hammer may work better, its the screw holes that would bug me, would have to figure out some way of hiding them, i pick the most wide open spots in a parking lot and when i come out sometimes from the guy next to me i can just about get back in aaaaargh

Dex, get an aftermarket bumper. Those ppl's car would've been trashed and not a scratch for u if u had a metal bumper.
