Thanks! Great informative video.

John Hudak says:

VERY cool video and very good tutorial. Well done!

abo Jodi says:

Thnk you for this video i asked you before about remote start for dodge nitro if you can do that

The Maddie Show says:

Thanks for the quick response! I spliced the yellow wires and now it starts. But now the Jeep doesn't shut off. I drove it a few feet forward and backward. And I do have a flash link updater, so I'm not sure if that has anything do with it.

The Maddie Show says:

When I turn my key for some reason it does not flash blue indicating its programed. Would you happen to know why? Thanks!

Matthew Sullivan says:

Rocky! A month ago I got my remote starter installed. We exchanged emails. All was good until one evening last week I turned off my jeep after arriving at a restaurant one evening. As I walked away from the jeep my wife said, isn't the jeep still running? As I looked back, you could see the puff from the muffler. Crazy. They key was in my hand. So I got back in, put the key in and turned it they key to on and then to off again. Nope, the jeep continued to run. After the third try, I finally got it to turn off turning the key to off. No issues since then. Any suggestions? I thought I might try disconnecting the battery, essentially, a computer reset. Gosh I hate to start the install over again. Thanks….

Justin Thompson says:

Great job, can't believe how easy it was after watching the video. The included instructions leave a lot to be desired. Thanks for taking the time to make this, it saved me time and headaches.

heinyml says:

I usually don't leave comments but people need to understand that it is no where near as easy as this video shows. In my 2017 Jeep the panel under the steering wheel does NOT just pop out after you remove 3 screws. It took me an hour and I nearly had to remove the steering wheel to get that panel off. Unplugging the immobilizer was a bitch. Again pit took my an hour and a few Band-Aids before the damn this would unplug. Next time I'm just going to pay a prifessional

First Choice Power Washing says:

Thanks for video
Made installation super easy

KHam Bone says:

Did you need an immobilizer for this install?

Exodus2Me Homestead says:

Watched this and it literally took less than 30 min. Thanks.

InvAdeRekiM says:

mine came today and it doesn’t work. the 20 pin connector has wires but they don’t connect to anything. they are just cut at the end like they need to be spliced to something else

Marek Kozlowski says:

Just got mine installed in half the time thanks to this video, cheers

J Seib says:

Thanks bro! Great video!

Matthew Sullivan says:

Rocky, Just received mine from Amazon and they noted in their information that it was flashed and prewired on a workbench before delivery for my 2011 Jeep Wrangler. Question, BEFORE I get started on the install, is there any way of telling if it has been flashed for my vehicle by looking at it? The crazy instructions that came with it, are the same two-page instructions that you show in your video, after looking at them, and all the comments on here I was half tempted to return it to Amazon. Also, knowing it difficult to disconnect that one harness, any more detail on that? Mine supposedly came from E&B Electronics. Thanks a bunch…..

Patrick Miller says:

Watched this once for an overview had it loaded up once into the job. Start to finish 30 minutes max. Thanks for the video 2011 JK

Billy Keen says:

I can't express how happy I was to find this video…by CHANCE! We just moved to Northern Nevada from Hawaii and are experiencing some cold weather. I ordered the CHRT5, connected the yellow wires, disassembled the console around the IMMOBILIZER (lol), and connected the device according to your instructions. Everything works fine, except it won't start. Off to the interwebs to find the FLU and program it. Should have just ordered it from your link. Anyway, looking forward to the "REMOTE START" benefits! Thanks for posting!

Hopefaithguns says:

Hey man I really appreciate the video. I just received my kit and there’s no directions or zip ties… oh well. It was $60 on sale at Walmart. I hope there’s a way to turn the horn off.. guess I can do it through the jeeps menu? My neighbors are gonna hate me if I beep my horn 4 times every morning at 6am lol

Brandon Essington says:

Big thanks this made it super easy

Daniel Hagen says:

will it fit 2012 diesel 2,8L?

Mohit Bhatia says:

Would this work with a 2009 Jeep Patriot?

John G says:

My installation was straightforward with this video but it would not program. 2017 JKU. Reviewed programming and troubleshooting information from the website but no luck yet. Blue solid light turns off when the key is cycled and it never acknowledged the program after pressing the kep fob. Now the fun begins…

Marky Mark says:

I didn't understand what the need was for plugging in the connectors that had no connections, open wires? The 20 pin connector for example…..why plug it in? It doesn't/isn't hooked up to anything? Just a bunch of wires that could potentially be hot and are now under the dash for a possible shorting to framework? Thank you for your video…..much better than the pathetic instructions from manufacturer.

phreebsd says:

where can i order this pre-programed? i dont want to have to buy the flashlink module to do so.

Adnel Pandur says:

Hey just letting you know in your in your description you wrote EVO-DHRT5 instead of EVO- CHRT5.. awesome video about to order mine now

Mark Sinsel says:

very very good video
i have a 2005 grand cherokee and it was exactly the same connection

Donald Jordan says:

I got back into the steering column and looked at my installation and noticed that there was a label that said cut the connection between green/red wire and purple wire if installed in Jeep Wrangler. That solved my problem.

Donald Jordan says:

Thanks for taking time to make video. Quick question: my installation went well and remote and fob worked as they should have on first day. However next day I've noticed the vehicle security light slowly flashing on the dash after a successful remote start. It won't stop flashing until I shut off and restart using key in ignition.
