David Williams says:

Great video and awesome job on the installation! I have a 2004 Grand Cherokee and am not mechanically inclined at all, but doing it yourself seems possible and kinda fun. Thanks again I think I have a project to tackle.

Alexis Lee says:

Can you tell me what I'd need for a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee please?

Nicholas Lopes says:

This was a great video and thanks for posting. The only questionable thing I saw is that you guys didn't disconnect the negative battery terminal to avoid short, but I guess you don't have to on the old vehicles.

MyNewLife says:

connect your after market CD player amp blue n white wire to the infinity trigger wire and then you don't have to bypass the amp. The trigger wire will be by itself in the middle on the plug with the power wires and the negative wires

Victor Arechiga says:

what will you need for a 2004 gmc sierra

Hi friend, Greetings from Brazil, I also have a cherokee, limited, 97, I wonder where you got the adapter cable, if you can pass a link thank you!

Perry Johnson says:

this was very useful, Your daughter did great. I know you must have been beaming as you watched your daughter succeed. I always tested the stereo just before you snap it into the spot of no return so I didn't have one of those, darn now I have to figure out why something isn't working. But this was one of the best videos. thanks so much for sharing.

My daughter got her permit about 6 months ago and ever since has been eyeing my 70 chevy truck. Isn't it amazing how when they want something really bad they will drop their phone, grab a screwdriver, donate a little blood and learn to fix something or at least pay attention?

David LaMay says:

how do you know what harness you need to use for a 2000 gmc jimmy? I want to get the same stereo

Hasan Ali says:

Hello from palestine, really nice video, your daughter achieve good job

artincorona says:

Great video. More dads should teach their daughters do it yourself projects. Your daughter was a good student, didn't complain at all.

** khaled says:

thank you dad, a good video

Matt Moncourtois says:

did you have to add another converting piece to be able to use the remote tabs behind the steering wheel to switch through the stations at all.

takeadayofff says:

But nothing at all beats the awesome sound of '90s Chrysler Infinity tape deck, as long as u find 1 with a properly aligned head since they are glued in place.
They were even better than the '80s model with fader joystick.

fernando solis says:

great video!!

John Furious says:

Great video install

zomg32 says:

I bought a 97 grand Cherokee with an aftermarket radio already installed. would I be able to reuse the wiring harness and dash kit if I were to upgrade to a better one?

SgtPnkks says:

those tabs are easy to break… mine broke even with care… the panel on the headlight switch side is held on by only one… sadly those are almost always missing at the junkyard

also the video cooking showed passed the part where the mic wire was run from the pillar to the inside of the dash

Jerry Addison says:

Awesome video Bri, clear instructions and easy to follow. My Mercedes doesn't have screws anywhere around the stereo or dash to remove it, how would I go about removing it?
