Michael Moutos says:

Went to the jeep dealer cause my navigation needs to be updated and was told that i need a new battery,i asked how much and they said $350 ! Cause if i get it installed somewhere else the check engine light would come on! I don't know if that's true or not,but my 2015 jeep grand cherokee limited has 70k miles and the battery is fine! Dealerships are vultures!

Thomas Kerwick says:

Had my jeep for 5 years and never knew battery was under seat until i had to change it. Your video was very helpful.
I found it easier to deal with the positive terminal by putting seat all way back and get to it from the front.
Not as easy changing battery like it used to be. Thanks for the help

Pete Onsholm says:

Great refresher – For anyone putting an Odyssey performance battery in their Jeep Grand Cherokee 2011-2017 with a 3.6L, their computer checker is wrong. It wants you to buy the 49-950, however, that is too long for the bracket. Apparently the 49-950 was designed for the 3.6L diesel only. For a 3.6L, you need the 94R-850 like the 5.7L and 6.4L.

Brian K Kinney says:

Can believe an auto manufacturer would put a battery in such a rediculous area. A year ago I was at a car show and needed a jump to start my car. I asked a friend who was also there and he said he couldn't help me because he was driving his wife's car and he had no idea where the battery was. He was a retired mechanic lol. Now i see why.

Paul Davidson says:

Oh so the nuts comes off not the bolt that bolt is stationary

Paul Davidson says:

That’s one ugly Head lol

Richard R says:

Great tutorial. That deep socket is a must. I didn't have one and it took FOREVER. I'm thinking the engineer that designed it that way was the same moron that designed headlight replacement.

Michael Gabriel says:

NOW THAT YOU HAVE LOST ALL OF THE SYSTEM SETTINGS, GOOD LUCK DOING THAT CRAP ALL OVER, ONCE AGAIN!!!))))))))))

Michael Gabriel says:

SUGGEGTION: WAIT TO PLACE THE BRAKET BACK IN, UNTIL AFTER YOU HOOK UP THE POSITIVE TERMINAL, SO THAT, YOU CAN REACH IT EASIER, BY SLIDING THE BETTERY BACK A COUPLE OF INCHES

Michael Gabriel says:

You forgot to hook up a memory battery, so that, you do not lose all of your settings from the dash board!!!))))))))))))) MY 2015 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE OVERLAND HAS A DIRECT CONNECTION UNDER THE HOOD SO THAT YOU CAN MAINTAIN POWER TO THE SYSTEM

Kent Harris says:

This procedure should work on the 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee as well!

wtf richard says:

Freakin Chrysler.

donge burdwell says:

Richard Blackwell says:
