I redid the last fold that you show here and the top now fits into my
Storage Boot! Thanks again for the video and if you want to see pics of it:

The last fold was Perfect!! You just solved a big mystery for me! Thanks!

Erik Giles says:

you leave it hanging like that at 2:55 while driving? I don’t believe that.

TJB63 says:

Nice, Thanks, I’ve thought the same thing with that Rear Window, You are
the first to confirm it’s best to leave it attached. Question though, Once
it’s completely folded down, Is it necessary to secure it with any straps?
Thanks

Erik Giles says:

too bad this isn’t in the &*$(#&$#@ owners manual.

Silveira Neto says:

Thank you for the explanation. Other videos could not explain it so clearly.

ammre says:

THANK YOU. the manual and some other things leave a lot of stuff really
vague.

DIVYA NAIDU says:

I tried taking the soft top down, but the top started cracking, (almost
like it was splitting) . why is that happening? can I go ahead and take it
down inspite of the cracks?

fatboy1271 says:

First, thanks for taking the time to record this! I love everything but the
final look. Should all that extra material be folded in towards the center?
Have you put a storage boot on a folded down soft top? I tried putting my
Smittybilt Storage Boot on yesterday evening. Oddly enough it was a little
cool in SoCal after work so I don’t think the material stretched as much as
I would have liked. However I think the main reason I couldn’t get it
completely on was because of the folds…

Thanks gentlemen, that was a big help!! Just bought a 2008 Unlimited and
took the top down for the 1st time.
