Here’s how to install a Willys Jeep Brake Kit for a CJ2A from Ron Fitzpatrick Jeep Parts, Part One

I get to work on my father’s CJ2a every four months or so. This video is part one of two of a complete brake job. In this video I remove hubs that have been on this jeep for 30 years and replace the shoes, master cylinder, lines, and slave cylinders. I purchased a complete brake kit from Ron Fitzpatrick Jeep Parts.

Scott, I believe the the short primary shoe usually goes in front on most vehicles. Also does Jeep require a preload on your wheel bearing? On most vehicles the first spanner nut on the wheel bearing after being torqued is backed off to relieve the preload and then the second spanner nut is locked down to hold the adjustment.
