How do you take out the plastic backplate with the mirror on power mirrors?
I can hear and feel the motor trying to turn the mirror but it’s almost
like it’s not snapped in or attached to the part that moves it.

You should do a vid of mounting updated 97+ mirrors on a 96 or older. I did
mine just had to trim the windown trim to get them to sit flush. A lot
nicer and bigger mirror.
