How do you know changing the fuel injectors would work? This motor is not
engineered for these injectors. Has the change affected your gas mileage or
engine performance? Thx..

I relied on experience from a member on w w w.c hero keefor um .c om who
did the swap and reported his results. I believed him and did the same. The
results are exemplary. The gas mileage has improved along with a smoother
engine operation. Can’t ask for more. What are you waiting for?

About 140k miles (206Km). Overflow container = MAC’s Radiator, approx.
$130. Yes, I live in Alberta, about 500 miles north of Montana and it does
get cold in the winter. Somedays -30c.

FYI…another good rubber rejuvenater is liquid hand soap (alcohol free).
Just place the liquid hand soap on the rubber for a few minutes then wipe
of with a dry clean towel, you’ll be surprised how well it does.

Reset not required for my flavor of Jeep. This is a 1990 RENIX. You may
have to reset yours depending on the year.

I gave the adapters consideration. I decided against because adding
addition break/connection points introduces more possibility of failure.
Less work, more risk.

I’m having problems with my 01 4.7 cherokee..hard start issues too…you
mentioned to label your injectors?is that to tell yourself which plug go’es
where…all the injectors are the same right

Yes. Although, I have to say it wasn’t running bad before after 22 years. I
swapped out to get the 4 port spray, better fuel economy and no threat of
leaking injectors. Engine throttle response is smoother. Still gathering
data.

I noticed that you didn’t reset the computer – usually done when replacing
the injectors. Did you just not mention it?

one goes where then..are the marked for each cylinder

“all the injectors are the same”, correct. When they get turned on, is not.
That’s why the labeling.
