Sorry for the late reply. Our information tells us that Jeep didn’t even have the option for a cabin filter until the 1999 model year.
5 ppl have Zjs
Thank you for the detailed video. For Wj owners, I have a 02 limited and there was no factory installed housing or filter. FYI
I own a 95 jeep grand Cherokee limited and a 97 jeep Laredo. Love them both great cars. But the 95 has a really unpleasant odor coming from the vents every time I turn on the heater.I sprayed some special vent cleaner but are there filters in these models located in the same place as the 2000 model that was in the demonstration. If not can you make a demonstration for those models. Thank you.I love my jeeps! 🙂
We don’t have any videos for replacing fuel filters…sorry.
Do you have a video showing how to replace the fuel filter on a 2001 Grand Cherokee? There are two hoses, with identical clips, which are easily removed by squeezing the clips. I’m a little baffled on how the third hose is removed however? It’s a different plastic clip. And I don’t want to improvise and brake it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Sure thing! We’re glad our video could help!
You’re welcome! We’re glad you found our video helpful!
Thanks! Much easier than the instructions that came with the kit.
Great video. Shows how it’s not a difficult or unusually tricky task at all. This video slowly walks thru the process in a few short minutes. Wish all my repairs/replacements were this easy. Thanks for posting. It helped a lot.
How many fuel injectors use a jeep Grand Cherokee 2001 6 cilinder. It is necessary to change them all or just the damaged?
You are welcome. We’re glad this video helped you!
Thanks a lot for your time, made the job quick !

thanks!!!!
EXCELENT !!! Thanks !!!
We don’t really understand why some vehicles have them straight out of the factory and some don’t. Hopefully your vehicle has one so all you have to buy is the filter!
I’m going to look into my used jeep to see if the housing is there. This seems like a very good idea and i’m glad I found this vid . We have a filter on our home ac why not our car. a few people on the jeep forums said a bunch of jeeps already have the housing . That at the factory they put it into some jeeps. If so i’ll just buy the filter . I’m going to look today.
I probably wouldn’t order a replacement housing…..I would use something like a butterfly (toggle) bolt and a couple washers and do away with the “one way” plastic fasteners.
If your vehicle already has a housing then you just need to change the cabin filter. If your vehicle doesn’t have a housing yet then you must purchase a housing to install in your vehicle. Once you purchase this housing and it install it into your vehicle you don’t have to buy another.
I have question question I didn’t know that my Grand Cherokee 04 has another filter, I usually change the regular air filter, I never change the cabin filter, My question is I’m going to change the cabin filter, but it’s, necessary to change the housing too or just the filter.
Thank you,
Is this what I need?
Any updates on the kit for vehicles without the cabin air filter housing? I’d love to purchase one
thank you for the info. you save me a lot of money.
