This video displays the correct way to remove and replace a broken wheel stud and lug nut.
This Jeep Wrangler 3.6 came it with a broken wheel stud and a lug nut was missing. After removing the wheel and the rear brakes, the brake rotor was removed by cutting clips with pliers. One of the wheel studs was broken off and it was found that another wheel stud was loose in the axle and not connected to the hub. This was confusing as the clips that retain the rotor to the axle were still in place and once removed they cant be reused. After the broken stud was hammered out, two new studs we pulled into place with a stud puller tool and a lug nut.

Someone’s be in there before
well as there was 3 I say someone replaced that one and added 2 more. some think if it come that way it needs to be put back on
Years ago, I worked at a Chrysler dealer ship such things were common. Remember the right and. Left hand threaded lugs common on Chrysler Dodge and Plymouth how they could mix them at the factory I'll never know .We once had if i remember right it was a Plymouth Volare on one side and a Dodge Aspen on the other. Different headlight assemblies, taillight assemblies, and badges on each side in the shop for dealer prep.
6:15 Factory stud LOL that's a brand new stud. Whomever replaced that one, put the retainer clips back on because they didn't know any better. Eric O has even mentioned seeing this, after market rotors with clips on the studs.
In case it isn’t known to others, the rear brakes wear faster than the front on a Jeep Wrangler. Second of all, when I was an unlearned dingdong several years ago and replaced my rear brakes and rotors, I specifically had a family member who worked at a non-sponsored auto parts store in your videos, obtain me clips to go back on the studs.I have them on at present, but also now realize that they are of no use. Also, as an FYI, the Mopar Wrangler Lugnuts are prone to internally separate thus warranting replacement. This is why I have gone to spline Lugnuts.
They probably put a stud for the front wheels on the back on accident. Jeep JKs have 2 different styles of wheel studs.
im glad your here ray
Probably just poor quality control at the factory
Don’t overthink the stud issue. It’s a Jeep thing. Lol
Somebody in Toledo had a few to many at lunch haha
