Yes, they are the ultra flex rubber and yes the vibes are a little more
noticeable but not very. For the most part you can only tell the
difference when you start the motor. We also put a set of these in a 4-cyl
TJ that has a slightly bent frame (motor mounts are marginally misaligned
because of it). The combination of the 4-cyl being naturally unbalanced
and the bent frame causes some major vibes under 1500 rpm…but this is an
isolated case.

more “high performance” motor moount and there is a lot less rubber on them

i am about to do this on a 98 xj. the right and left look the same, but you
said they are labeled right and left, how are they are different?
