Hi there! Big fan of your videos, they have been so so helpful. I just purchased an XK8 about a month ago, a California car with not one bit of rust. It has been sitting for 2 years and will turn but not start. Suspected fuel pump. To add, sadly, she does have the green shower. The top is in wonderful condition and can be opened and closed manually, but I haven't tackled the hydraulic line failure. All of the forums recommend Pentosin, which as I looked further into it, is suitable for cold climates. I have yet to find a hot climate alternative. It would be a shame to get the lines fixed, flushed, and then have them burst again during our 100 degree summer. Lovely black 2000 xk8 with only 69k miles.

Not PTFE. The hose sheath is PVC.
