How many miles were on this car when you did this?

Jeff Sam says:

Title is WRONG, should be called Timing Chain repair. Not Front end

Good work! That should keep your Cat running excellently with no worries!

Gary Norris says:

Hello Paul, Great video post of yours. I’m just about to attempt the same
on my XK8. Would you be kind enough to also send the work list to me, so
that I can benefit from your knowledge. Many thanks mate.
gary.xk8@gmail.com Kind regards, Gary.

louis, there are a few things that you will need before you start. An air
gun and a compressor to remove the crank bolt whis on veryveryvery tight
275nm of torque.spray this bolt with a penetrating agent every day for a
week before trying to undo. The cam sprockets are not locked on to the
camshaft via a key but only held on with torque! you must use a torque
wrench on reassembly.again, the crank pulley only held on by torque send me
ur email address and i will send a work list for you. paul
