Jaguar XE Rear Brake Replacement service Mode. A Step-by-step guide. No special tools required.

If your rear brakes need replacing on your Jaguar XE the EPB (electric parking brake) will need to be placed into service mode to retract the brake calipers.

This is done on most vehicles using a diagnostic tool, but the Jaguar has a accessible on board service mode and can be placed into service mode using this short but simple procedure.

This procedure needs to be completed before the brake pads are removed.

To exit simply pump up foot brake and repeat procedure.

Do you think this would work on my 2015 XKR? The manual and everybody says you need diagnostic equipment to put it in service mode? Either way, thanks for the vid!
