Jaguar X-type thermostat replacement

#jaguarxtype #thermostat

Sorry guys, no thermostat links are available at the moment.

Today’s video is about Jaguar X-type thermostat replacement. I will show you the whole process of removing and installing the thermostat from draining the coolant up to filling the cooling system and getting rid of air bubbles.
We will also have a look at the old thermostat housing and talk about precautions – how to keep the bolts from getting rusty and stuck into the thermostat housing, which usually ends up with tearing the insert nuts out.

And here are the OEM numbers of a Jaguar X-type thermostat:
C2S11278 1X43-8A544-AA

The tools needed for removing and installing the thermostat of a Jaguar X-type are: pliers, an 8 mm socket and a wide screw-driver to drain the coolant.
