This is the second part of the video about Jaguar X-type 2.1 & Ford Mondeo MK3 fuel pump replacement without dropping the fuel tank.

Here I show you how to rebuild a fuel pump assembly, changing the fuel pump electrical unit only. It will save you a significant amount of money, since the fuel pump itself costs much cheaper than the entire fuel pump assembly.

Besides, I added a bonus of describing some symptoms of a fuel pump failure, some tips on how to test a fuel pump power supply, so that to find out if it is electrics or a pump itself that is faulty. And one more tip in the end of this video, how to bring the pump back to life, maybe a very short life, but in my case it gave enough fuel to my engine for about half an hour of a very careful drive back home.

Surely, one should be very careful and not make experiments with electrics when the fuel tank cap is open, since fuel vapors are highly flammable and may cause a fatal consequences.
