Are you sure the little black thing isnt upside down? theres a gold socket
just above that looks like it slots into, for the Antenna shield, similar
to Wifi Adapters inside laptops

Thank you for posting this video. You saved me about $50! I was worried it
would be really hard to change the battery, but it was super easy. I used
to work in a jewelry store and one of my tasks was to change watch
batteries. There are some watches that are more complicated than what I
just did with my wife’s iPhone.

Great vid – we purchased the fixit with tools – same price so why would you
not!! The only recommendation I can make to others, if you have a strong
magnet, pass your screwdrivers over it a couple times to magnetize them –
then you don’t need tweezers. And no – a magnetized screw driver will not
hurt you electronics.

I cant remove the battery because the screw is stripped, any fixes its so
annoying was very careful with it as well just paid £8 for a battery.

My iPhone was about 80% charged and then shut off. I could not power it
back on even when plugged in. Then I pushed the power button and the home
key at the same time and it powered up. Not sure why this happened.

thanks , but someone please help me my iphone 4s i was at the pool it was
outside burning hot where i couldnt even hold it i let it cool down for the
last 30mins i was there and i was walking home and it wouldnt turn on bout
3 weeks from than is today and i have been trying to do everything sense
