Patrick Dunn says:

Love the pronunciation, since fender probably got the name from the ENGLISH
car company Jaguar

MrCockSlut says:

buy a buzz stop seriously, i dont really use the tremelo so i dont know
about ppl claiming it effects the motion, but it stops the strings slippin
out

menono58 says:

it’s pronounced “Jag-war” not “jag-you-are” its an American guitar so you
need to pronounce it like an American.

Adam White says:

may i suggest removing the strings first, make it a bit easier

Prediko says:

Thank you so much

ShortScaleGearDemos says:

I really don’t.

menono58 says:

I must say that the automobile can be pronounced “jag-you are” as it is a
British car and should be pronounced as such. The football/soccer debate is
odd, My city’s MLS team has the suffix FC (Football club). Not all
Americans like “American football” .

maximusv1 says:

Taking the strings off, Then having to put them back again is a lot more
hassle than loosening them and pushing them to the side.

ShortScaleGearDemos says:

STFU N00BZ!

Daniel Steinman says:

Buy a Yamaha or an Ibanez or something with one built in, it will probably
cost the same as the installation anyway. You can find a used axe with a FR
already in it probably pretty cheap too.

brmanuk says:

Quality vid – nice to see some love for the noobs out there!

uhuhuh406 says:

haha good one

jarmorgan says:

hello i was thinking about buying a fender jaguar and was wondering if this
is a good guitar for rock, like Van Halen Guns N Roses and types like that.

ShortScaleGearDemos says:

No, get a les paul.

jorgepeterbarton says:

there are two sizes of mustang bridge. one has gaps and doesn’t seem to
work well for some. If its installed in a japanese jazzmaster the trem
holes are closer together and so push the gaps together. when both saddle
types are pushed together fully they have the standard modern or vintage
string spacing, so sure gaps are intentional. don’t know about actual neck
size on USA/MIJ. Neck alignment is possible by loosening neck screws
quarter turn, push neck then retighten. Radius might not fit too.

blackfireINSANITY says:

are you sure you’re hitting the correct string? 😛

Heisenberg85 says:

Dont bang on the strings like yer pete townsend…who DIDNT bang ob the
strings he jist swung his arm to it LOOKED like he was using force. If you
ever play drums you notice you cant hit the drum as hard as other drummer
LOOK loke they hit theirs. Its all for show.

DontBeAfraidToCare says:

He shot himself after he had three times the lethal amount of heroin in him
with a shotgun longer than his arm. Makes sense.

Shoegazer3000 says:

Good video. A Mustang bridge is definitely the way to go especially if you
strum hard. It’s really not difficult install yourself, although a little
patience is required to intonate the guitar. You also need to make sure
you’re using the right string gauge. Use 11’s or 12’s on a Jaguar.

cowie86 says:

You don’t explain which is the front and which is the back of the mustang
bridge. Someone could put it in the wrong way round after watching this
vid. Are there screw heads that face out towards the tremolo?

Steven Reinhardt says:

@menono58 eat a dick cunt

darthwilson says:

Thanks for posting this 🙂 I got A fender jag and been having probs with it
🙁

maximusv1 says:

I hurts to pay £5 a set haha.

heroindog says:

@cowie86 i could see that the screws were facing the tailpiece, i dont know
how you missed that…

fernando hirose says:

thanks for explain…

Sentience says:

your going to have to check with a tech cause it may require routeing your
guitar a floyd double locking bridge is a heavey duty peice of hardware so
it may take some skill putting it in cause if your squier isnt open for a
floyd cutting will be reqired to remove the wood to make room for the floyd

FrancoAC says:

Pfft. The stock bridge rules. This idea seems a bit ghey to me, if i fit a
TOM will i sound like Krudtz Cobain?

Eno Eyes says:

Quit reaffirming the fact that this is for beginners. We know! Good video
anyway though. I actually didn’t know what adjusting the saddles did.
Thanks. I’ll see if i could improve the adjustment on my cheap squier strat.

hedkutter18 says:

Apparently you know dick about guitars. The jag is notorious for having
intonation problems and this is the most common fix.
