HIDRETROFITKIT,COM says:

We can build them with bi led projectors that won’t need replacement bulbs.

John Livingston says:

I am looking for the original part number for the ‘96-‘97 regular HID bulbs. Does anyone have it handy? Thanks.

Gary Moores says:

Hi John
I have finally got around to trying your silica bag fix for condensation. It's a constant problem I have with one lens in particular. So fingers crossed 🙂
I have just tried your link for new lenses, but it redirects to the wrong page. Could you possibly either renew the link or tell me where you got them from please.

Andork Kuomo says:

What boneheaded "engineer" thought this was somehow an acceptable design to make such a mundane act as changing a bulb such a pain in the ass??! How much more involved is it getting out my HID assembly on my XKR with the headlight washer? Someone needs a smack upside the head for this work of art!

Viraf Pithawalla says:

Thanks John

Daniel Suchański says:

Hi John, great video, I need to replace my headlights as the chrome part is in very poor shape – is it possible to get the front part (glas+chrome) of the whole assembly only?

Niguel says:

Thanks John. Very helpful. Question please? I'm taking my XK8 to Spain and need to change the beam direction permanently to have it re registered (ie no stickers). Will I have to change the complete units or is there an adjustment I can make. Thanks…….

David Jebson says:

Hi John, sorry to bother you, but I might be on the point pf buying an xk8 4.2 2003 and I need advice/info from you. Re Headlights on a UK car the dipped beam SHAPE is like this __ and in France where I live it needs to be ____ or ideally like this ____/. Now on projector lights there is often a lever within the headlight assembly on the dip beam for cutting off the 'flare' off the shape of the dipped beam which would make it acceptable to the French mot boys – so my question is, do XK8 usually have this feature, please?

Mitch Grooms says:

great video

How are the condensation fixes working

Matt from Florida says:

I've lived in Florida, Georgia and Alabama. The only cars which have bad rust in those states are those which live a mile or closer to the ocean.

Harry Scott says:

Hi John.
That looked like a GENUINE puff when you released the unit!!

Geoff Minors says:

Nice one speedy John!! I now have my 97 Coupe in my workshop been detailing it and I am like you being OCD every nook and cranny is being cleaned. Really enjoying your vids helped me a lot thanks. My future mods are rear silencer delete, performance air intake manifold from Mina. I will post a walk around video soon. I am a Brit living in Alberta Canada. Thanks John keep the videos coming.
