Freon was not used on 96′ models.
hmm no heat usually means bad thermostat. usually stuck open. easy test If the lower hose gets warm fast thats usually a good sign its stuck open. also could be clogged heater core or it is the valve at the firewall thats controls the antifreeze going into the heater core could be stuck. this should give you a starting point
Nice Jag matey. I have a gold one, ’96 3.2 XJ6 Executive strait 6. My AC is as cold as ice, I have to opposite problem – no heat! Blowers etc work great but no heat! Any ideas buddy?
