dude your voice is makes me relaxed as fuck
Excellent video, very useful info to have and know!
you don’t have to stagger the rings, rings spin in the cylinder when the
motor is turning over/running.
Awesome vid. Other than his voice sounds like mr rogers telling a bed time
story or something. Great vid very basic and easy to understand
A very professional video.. Top stuff champ.
it was my left ear ! not joking
great video thank you
Funny when you click on a professional video that says “Piston Rings – How
to Install” but never shows how to install the piston rings.
Does anybody know which direction a piston ring should be installed if
there is a flange on the side of the ring?
how can you install the piston, you havent shown us how to install the ring
@psingone You are right. Thats the exact reason you stager them. Yea the
rings will move around but the chances of them lining up with all the gaps
in a row are very slim if at all. I have built motors (racing and street)
since i was well…. since i could remember. Over 24 years.
LOL
this is bob ross’s brother the mechanic.
estaba esperando q ponga el puto anillo
The Bob Ross of automotive!
I thought you did have to stagger to prevent all rings from lining up which
would cause blow by and compression loss? Just curious
my yamaha 1979 yz100f 2stroke says book 1 on top of piston and has like a
13 digit number on top whats this mean standard? arrow faces exhaust tho
dood
OMG, Bob Ross you guys read my mind. That’s exactly what I was thinking
too!…We’re just going to go ahead and put these happy little rings here.
Just like that, that’s perfect!
@cobrachoppergirl Get back in the kitchen.
Right Ear what a retard you had your headset on wrong
@morbitron6 ur funny
HAHAHAHAHAHH all i hear is my subwoofer talking
@MIGHTYSAMINYOURFACE haha yea, I spend way to much money on my car 🙂
subscribe to my channel as I will be making a lot of videos this year. soon
I will make my own video on how to install rings, bearings, and such as I
do my own rebuild.
@cobrachoppergirl Rotary 😀
pfff…..
@youngdones~ it means you’re getting strong detonation!
I dress the ends of the rings after filing. A slight bevel to the sharp
edge helps prevent the ring from machining the cylinder wall
He switched to the sound quality where only dogs can hear.
hey i just got a piston and rings for my kx250f how long till i break it
in????
@youngdones The rings seal off the combustion chamber air tight to allow
the compression to build for a proper burn of the fuel.
This guy sounds like he’s talking soft to his gay friend while getting the
lubrication cream ready.
My right ear enjoyed this video.
Thanks I finally understand
ok but tell me how to instal?
This like how Bob Ross does a painting.
