It took close to 8 hours just untacking the skin off the donor roof, The spotweld are much larger than normally encountered. Thank for the support, the club members already think I’m nutz just to attempt this…
Thank…I’m rather used to fixing body panels, with the rust and all here 🙂 You had the previous model, which were RWD. These ones are AWD, only 800 made. You can have a car with the same running gear, it’s the isuzu stylus/gemini irmscher. Japan got the gemini/stylus with the north american Impulse RS’s powerplant. You have about 3 of these in australia, red one in adelaide IIRC. All import of course.
we had these sold in australia during the 1980s, as the Holden Piazza Turbo
it was an isuzu piazza / impulse. only a couple thousand were sold. with the old G series 4cyl motor.
