How did you make the adapter plate to bolt on the transmission to the
engine. Any help would be appreciated

Pete Jackson says:

You will need a vacuum source (small 12v vacuum pump will do fine) for
getting the heater controls two work. Also, the Front Axle Actuator is
vacuum operated, so the 4×4 won’t work unless you have a vacuum source or
rig up a mechanical means to actuate the front axle.

JDshootsalot says:

thats one sharp truck you got there man, my first car I drove on the street
was a 1989 S10 4×4, looked pretty close to that but it was the dark blue
metallic and had the 4.3 TBI auto, i sold it to my buddy, then bought it
back, then kept it for a while and my other bud wanted it bad, he traded me
a car that was worth double what the truck was so i couldnt pass it up.
That little truck seen ALOT of mud and i had some much fun in that thing.
it was pretty bad on gas as all 4.3 TBI ‘s are but it had plenty of power.
they are pretty much impossible to find in ohio now, they are all rusted
away or scrapped from that stupid cash for clunkers program. I want another
one but i think i will end up with a jeep Cherokee or maybe the grand
cherokee, at least i can find those.

Great little truck

Have you ever considered just running a small 12v vacuum pump to operate
the controls in the dash?

David Ott says:

That’s bad ass man! You ever thought to put like a 2.5″ down pipe and like
a 3″ or a 3.5″?

Dan Milner says:

Nice video Curt. Good job man. If you do not have an idea for a tach, I
can give you a alternator number that has a third pole in it. It is
designed just for that, providing a tach reading meaursement. Thanks.
