😀 About VideoShowMeHow
———————————————–
⏩ Where did this start?
I really enjoy tinkering with different projects – they usually require a whole bunch of research and learning along the way. It’s satisfying on doing a thing and standing back and going ‘Yeah! Totally did that!’. I had a bunch of mates asking ‘how did you know how to do that?’ and ‘I couldn’t never do that myself so I thought; I need to start something where I can help others that might be thinking the same thing πŸ™‚

⏩ What will you find here?
The purpose is simply to make these videos as top quality and helpful as I can. They will always be free, there’s ZERO agenda and the only motive is to try and upload what I would want to watch to help with that particular project. I’m also keen to keep building this little community and will try to answer all questions when asked – fire away πŸ™‚

⏩ What’s with the gloves?
Not after any YouTube fame here which is why I’m not in the vids – they’re not about me they’re about the how-to! I used the gloves for the first couple of projects I filmed which just happened to be messy ones and it kinda just became a thing. Plus adds a little more personality I guess πŸ™‚

New videos are being uploaded regularly so if there’s something you’d like to see, have Questions and/or Comments drop me a line.

Cheers guys.

Thank you so much for your videos! I will get my D-Max in a couple of weeks and set it up for outback touring in very remote areas. I saw that you are getting ready for Cape York! How do you prepare such a modern vehicle and what spares to take? Will you take cv joints, hub assembly? The repairs are so much more involved than let’s say series 70. And what about all the electronic assistance systems? Is there any way to turn all of that off and still get home from really remote places? Would be great to get a preparation / spares to take video from you!
