from what i have read the mrev2 is good for the revup motors because they have smaller air inlets where as the non revup motors already have bigger inlets so they don’t need the mrev2 but a spacer still gives u 7-10 whp

Shylan Tanner says:

where did you get the air dam for your intake set up if you dont mind me asking?

CrzBonKerz21 says:

I know this was 3 years ago, and you may not even have the same car, but I’ve done a lot of reading and it seems that a spacer for g35 6mt isn’t that great. The best thing you’d want is a MREV2 manifold.

Awesome video man! Really straight forward its the one Ill use along with the motordyne instructions!

kl4892 says:

Where did you get that heat shield that connects directly from the OEM air catcher to the air filter itself? Did it come with the air intake?

Jonathan Su says:

did you need to tune/reflash your ecu after install? or is a ecu reset fine.

Question! If you installed the motordyne 5/16 plenum spacer if you are a steady driver would you attually improve your mpg or would it stay the same or non the less loss mpg? Note: my car 2007 5at g35 coupe with full cat back exhaust and I have Stillen intake/ztube? Thanks

mrkingquang says:

@tildenlaz it is to increase the hp and torque. Free up space and allow more air to go into the manifold. It is one of the best bang for Buck mod in the market.

Tilden Lazaro says:

Might be a dumb question but, what is the purpose of a spacer??

romanich12 says:

i got my Z-tube and 5/8 Skunk2 plenum spacer, down pipes,y-pipe, nismo catback from 2008 350z NisMO,midpipe delete. JWTpopcharger. clutchmasters stage 4clutch kit. tanabe suspencion. for my 2004 G35 and i ran 13.9 1/4 mile. some say its not so bad for 2004 G35 and i got 82K miles on it…stock injectors and sparkplugs. what did u do to your car??? did u run 1/4 mile??? what times did u get??? is your engine revUp???

Brian Galban says:

Yes it does and is well worth the time and money

Brian Galban says:

It did at all ranges. It really helped with the low end dead spot the g35 can have.

Dani01c says:

apparently it does, if you see 350z has 3 more horses than G35, and the only difference in the engines is that tube

Precious Akwarandu says:

finally this is going to help me big time

larry t smooth says:

did it make a big difference in power, and if so were at low, mid,or high?

DarkElement07 says:

Im thinking about upgrading with a spacer like this on my 350z. Awesome video

romanich12 says:

Thanks 4 the video.nice car.

romanich12 says:

do u think z-tube gives your G35 atleast 1HP????just asking,because i got G35coupe/6spd.got exhaust,clutch,suspension,JWpop-charger looking 2 get plenum spacer,would like 2know if z-tube gives your car any HP gain.

Brian Galban says:

Thanks, I just thought I’d try and help people to see how easy it was just in case they were apprehensive about doing it themselves. Peace
