Fix the seat motor on a Infiniti Qx4 or a Nissan Pathfinder, and most other cars.

Crazy— worked on my 2001 Maxima– was easy to access from the front of the seat– I just raised the seat as high as it would go– 2 whacks with my tack hammer & voila– thanks much— I think the gear may be a trifle worn..
Hey just got my Infiniti i30t and it has this problem.. I thought that I was going to have to replace the motor..But Thanks to your video my seat works just fine now..Now should I WD-40 it so it will not stick again?
This worked for my ’01 Infiniti I30t. Same exact problem: drivers side, forward & backward would not work but other movements were fine. Even tried disconnecting pos. terminal on battery to re-set computer as was suggested on another site, (didnt work btw). I brought it to a mechanic & was quoted $1400.- to replace entire seat track assembly, lmao!! Im so glad I found this. Thank you very much!!
Just had this problem with my 03 Pathfinder. The seat was stuck all the way in the forward position rendering it undriveable, and all the pushing on it with the button back didn’t move it at all. Just gave it a couple quick taps with the hammer and saved me calling to get it towed to the shop. Thank you.

This is common sense. Most men would conclude that this stuff happens often to electric motors and therefore strikes them to somehow give them the ‘old kick’. That’s the first thing that occurred to me to do when my drivers seat got stuck the same way also. Gave it a god knock and got fixed. The problem never came back!
