Infiniti G37 Sunroof Leak Fix! – Simple Permanent Repair / Fix

In this video we will be repairing the infamous g37 sunroof drain leak / clog! Fix water on floorboard carpet and mildew smell. The best and easiest way I have found is to ditch the old drainage system and reroute new lines to the a/c drain. Most people will attempt to replace the drain seal at the firewall only to realize that it is an absolute pain to get to and half the time it still leaks after the repair. Rerouting the sunroof drain to the a/c condensate drain on the passenger side is a foolproof method to fixing the g37 sunroof leak for good!

Thank you for sharing this genius method. My 2012 G37 just leaked for the 1st time. I merged the left and right together close to the ac line, then used a 3/8 to 1/2 adapter before I connected them to the 1/2 ac line.

Richard Cortez says:

I am currently in a situation right now, I am at the step where I am about to tee into the condensate drain. The thing is, I only bought 3/8 x 3/8 x 3/8 tee, do you think I should be okay if I were to just clamp all sides? Condensate drain is 1/2” hose

Jasminee asmr says:

So when you cut the original hose to add the black one it’s basically rerouting the water to go out the AC hose that’s why towards the end you attached them all together ? This would all prevent it from going through the fire wall and potentially leaking into the car correct ?

Cam MOPAR Campbell says:

Great video my g37 coupe leaks badly I'm going to use your method and I have to pull the carpet up and and remove the seats to properly dry it out and clean it. After that it should be fixed!!! Thank you for the walk through

Ralphy Rozay says:

I had this problem about a year ago in my driver side. Then I had the issue again on my passenger, but I noticed that the leak was coming from a bad door seal.
