eturkov says:

you can also try using a spill free funnel to bleed the system.

eturkov says:

The valve should remain closed. If you have air trapped, you need to heat cycle (hot/cold/hot/cold) until the air is no longer trapped. Like it says in the video, you should let the car cool fully before driving the first time.

immortaljatt05 says:

Right, this video was pointless, my g35 keeps overheating when i take it for long drives.

immortaljatt05 says:

i have done this process but my car overheats when i take it for long drives that r over and hour long of highway driving. How to i get the air out? Should i open the release valve n the back and rev at 3000rpms?

eturkov says:

If it doesn’t spill, keep pouring coolant into the radiator filler neck, eventually it will spill out.

wwhs98 says:

Have you ever had a situation where no fluid spills from the air plug?

Jim Farn says:

Looks great. Mine is overheating. Will be doing this and changing the thermostat tomorrow.

eturkov says:

Flushing is really only needed if you have a lot of contamination. Usually about 1.5 gallons of coolant/distilled water (50/50) will be used.

jackchn23 says:

A few questions, the system doesn’t need to be flushed? And how much coolant is used? Thanks Eugene!

eturkov says:

The system can be stabilized be heating and cooling several times as outlined in the factory service manual.

joos mendoza says:

Don’t you need to burp your system? Every other video has that step or is that not required for this vehicle?

EnthusiastAutoCare says:

Because it is not part of the FSM procedure.

Ellary Kahan says:

Why didn’t you drain the block?

Thanks for the video, I followed your steps and it made it really easy. I appreciate you taking the time to do this for evryone with a G35! Nicely done!

zozx says:

probably not, I’ve had negative experience with stant rad-caps; Over overpressurization & ballooning of the radiator hoses, So Personally I don’t trust the product.

zozx says:

You replace the radiator cap because the gasket gets brittle and will not hold pressure which causes a loss fluid, causing overheating; they also get gunk built up inside not allowing the mechanism to open or close fully. DO NOT BUY STANT or any AFTERMARKET RADIATOR CAPS. USE ONLY AN O.E.(“original equipment from manufacturer”.) CAP. You will only waste money on junk that will fail, by cheaping out.

justice2576 says:

Nice vid but why a new radiator cap?
