Well it decided to come back on, and it still stalls sometime. I had it
checked and I think it was a sensor and TCM. Idk though cause I few months
later I got it checked again and it was different. I still have
warrentybbut it would be nice to fiix it myself

supadem says:

WARNING!! FK THIS GUY DO NOT EVER TOUCH THE THROTTLE BODY BUTTERFLIES YOU U
WILL FUK UP UR ECU!!!!!! TO ALL NISSAN AND INFINITY IF U DO URE IDLE WILL
BE ALL FKD UP AND WILL CAUSE U A LOT OF HEADACHE

kmckis1029 says:

thanks for sharing this video as i been wanted to do this to my G37x but
didnt know which hose it was. Oh by the way i cringed when i saw you move
the throttle body butter fly, but i did like that you showed the inside of
manifold as it confirmed it was much cleaner.

for anyone else doing this DO NOT MOVE THE BUTTERFLY. if you happen to move
it for some reason there is a reset procedure. All you have to do is turn
the car to the ignition to the ON then OFF position 3 times with in like 5
seconds. you will hear an actuator move a couple times.

How u get a cover for the brake booster

Julio Lopez says:

I have a 08 G 35s my engine light was on for a fee months, I was gonna take
it tot dealer ship next weekend. I used sea form and the engine light came
off. I juss put a quarter of it to oil and the rest to tank. Was skeptical
about vacuum booster cause didn’t know much bout it. Is the engine light
coming off juss a placebo effect? Or did it actually help?

michael enochs says:

How long does the smoke last after you do this? I mean how long do you have
to drive before all the smoke goes away?

turboxtcx says:

nice now you fucked up your position of the throttle body butterfly. PPL
WATCHING THIS WITH THE VQ35DE DONT DO THAT! THERE IS A RELEARN PROCESS YOU
HAVE TO DO TO GET YOUR CAR TO NOT RUN LIKE SHIT. UNLESS YOU KNOW THE
PROCESS DONT FUCK WITH IT

HI says:

I have an 07 g35 trying to seafoam my motor. Where is the vaccum tube on 07
next to the battery

Howard Mora says:

Really I’ve done this many times. Just pop the brake booster vac line and
take a whole can of seafoam…just pour it in little by little without
stalling the engine. Then when there’s about a quarter can left…fload the
engine. Kill it. Let it stand for about 20 minutes. Then hook up your vac
line…start the engine and take the car for a fast ride. It works wonders.
I use seafoam in my outboard motor. That’s what it was made for. Carbon
kills 2 stroke outboards.

Mexpunker says:

When you drove the car did you re install your Pop charger?? I just hit the
100k on my g and I’m thinking about doing this

tooserious4u79 says:

Where did you get that plenum from and can you fix mine too?

ddemier says:

Did you really notice better results after the seafoam. How is car still
running. Every mechanic I have talked too says this seafoam is a gimmic.
Thanks for posting.

Todd Welfelt says:

I apologize for not responding sooner….. I’ve been having some computer
issues. Before I drove it I did put the pop charger back in. I don’t want
to think of what kind of things could happen without a filter on the
intake! I would recommend doing this. It has helped my cars and most of the
guys I work with have also done this with excellent results!

tooserious4u79 says:

I really want to know who did your plenum that look awesome

Mother nature disliked this video.

Sean C says:

you can fingerbang the butterfly valve for a half hour as long as you dont
unplug the TB. it will relearn itself with 5-6 WOT’s or 1-2 days of normal
driving. this coming from someone who just cleaned the hell out of their TB
and is idling at a perfect 750rpm

settjes says:

I can attest you do not want manually open the throttle valve. It can screw
up you idle and is a real pain to get back on target. Nice cleaning.

RETRIBUTIONSJ14 says:

My vq feels brand new now!

asher217ify says:

What kind of intake do you have

Robbie vigil says:

Or you can just use the aerosol version of sea foam…

ItzCashew says:

Uhhh if any one is doing this on their Z or G please don’t push open the
butterfly valve. Its computer controlled and you wouldnt want to go through
the reset process if the valve dynamics got changed.

misfit77 says:

Read up before you start moving your TB by hand…I learned not to on my
2007.

Infinite1871 says:

Great vid! I’ve been meaning to do this to my G now especially since I’m at
105k….I’ve been using the Chevron cleaner every time I get an oil change
and btw what strut bar is that? i’ve been looking for something that will
fit since i have a 1/2 inch spacer.

Zachari94 says:

Could someone explain to me a little about that vacuum tube he unplugged?
What is it connected to and how does it work?

MCrowley138 says:

most dont know how to use they will some times just add it to your gas tank
like jack asses thinking it like Lucas fuel injector cleaner..

Pedro Talavera says:

I have a feeling the catalysts don’t like this procedure very much…I bet
the CEL came on soon after this operation
