Martin Riggs says:

Here is a tip. To tell what the light does, pull the bulb and shine a
flash light in hole. It is easy to see which idiot light they go to. If
you are swapping to L.E.D. you may just want to do the main lights. If you
do blinkers and some indicators they will be darn bright. The main bulbs
are 194s, and the small ones are 74s on the old Toyotas.

Anthony Perez says:

Cool video! I have a 91 4Runner, V6 automatic and my speedometer stopped
working, I suspect that the cable broke behind the instrument cluster, you
mention in the video that you had to replace it on your truck, was it hard
to do?
Did you make a video of that or can you provide me the info on how to do
it?

Martin Riggs says:

I did my ’85 Toyota today. It’s a bitch getting to that speedometer
cable. They could have included a little slack. The whole job took less
than an hour. I went with blue L.E.D. lights. They look pretty cool.

James Stephens says:

ElPaso TubeAmps says:

Thank you for taking the time to document this – much appreciated.

better soc says:

what car ? what year? you are not smart,,

Justin Johnson says:

Just a little heads up for people replacing these. Do NOT touch the new
incandescent bulbs without rubber latex gloves. The oil from your skin
will drastically lower the life span of the bulb. That applies to all
light bulbs.

Sovereign Knight says:

Should have replaced them with LED’s. That’s what I’m going to try and do
on my 97 Honda Accord.

Tom Skaggs says:

Thanks for the video, looks easy enough, I appreciate the time you took to
document this… If I toast the speedo cable, I’ll bitch, otherwise
thanks.

J.J. Cruz says:

its a late 80’s 4runner for those who are asking

HILLBILLYMORON says:

Nice video. Very informative. Thanks for the help! I’ll be doing my
Tacoma this weekend.

MrAmartom says:

Toyota what? Toyota makes a lot of models and years of vehicles you know.
Toyota is a make not a model. No where do you mention WHAT vehicle you are
working on.

Thomas Sumpter says:

how do you do this to a 04 g35 sedan?? and what kind of LEDS do i need to
purchase for that ‘blue modern look’

smspott says:

Did you ever have trouble w/ your radio light? Mine only works if I put my
finger in the tape deck and push up.

mudmaniac95 says:

bro I miss your Toyota .

interstategar says:
