Samir Savla says:

This was really helpful video. I was able to follow this to get the spark plugs changed as part of the 120k service that I am doing on my car. Keep up the good work and thanks for posting this.

I didnt have any issues there and was able to put back all the bolts that were removed as part of this process. My older spark plugs had not been changed since over 60k miles and were bad.

I did find some engine oil and was curious to know what could have caused them to be covered in engine oil?

reetrulez says:

thanks for the video, inspired me to do this myself. had some minor issues but overall not nearly as bad as i expected.

ich0pz says:

hey man nice video, i have a 03 infiniti that is having problems starting, somewhat out of no-where too, I checked the battery had it charged, bought new spark plugs, and am going to install them from these videos. Hopfully that is what is causing it not to start, it will crank but will not start, it sounds like it wants too.. but no spark? any thoughts? Much appreciated if you could help!

GrooveyTuesday says:

That was completely uncalled for. How many videos have you made? Why don’t you just concentrate on your punctuation and grammar for now.

Anyone know of a good g35 online discussion forum? I’m a new g35 owner

sillysileighty says:

lol I just did my plugs AND THEN watched this vid. Man that wiring harness is all up in the way like a mofo, even with all the brackets undone! lol

took me about 40 min

Wesley Duncan says:

great video man! thanks.

atlive1 says:

I just wanted to stop by and say thanks for the video, it really gave me great support , I never though I could change the sparks on my infiniti g35.
thanks a lot, it was really help full.

Andrew Klein says:

Think twice about using anti-seize on spark plugs. Good theory, but it will act as a lubricant and change the torque profile of the plug (causing you to over torque it into the head). Not good.

Trinh Pham says:

thanks for all your videos, bythabayplayer, what does the 30k service involve?

10lluvv says:

my g35 is doing like 200km / tank… its an 03 coupe….. what could be the issue? could it be the spark plugs?

CampinBush says:

the video is too fast lol…

CampinBush says:

what year is that car? Doesn’t look like 1st gen….

trident68 says:

Excellent, I have an 06 with 85K miles. I don’t know if I could do this w/o this vid – well, OK, eventually I’d figure it out, but I’m sure this will save me oodles of time and headache. Thanks for doing this, it is very much appreciated!

andrewbnsf . says:

great work! Would you do a service on my 04 g35 coupe?? ofc for a price??

the615guy says:

is there a shorcut? lol

Timothy Lynch says:

ive been working on cars for a like a year and i even know your dumb, do you use that much anti-SEIZE (not anti-freeze)((WOW)) on every spark plug job?? btw…….you made an oil change into 2, 8 minute videos…..fuggin idiot…and if you slowed down the fast parts when attention is needed maybe somebody could use these worthless videos. i really hope your not doing this to support a family….. just saying

ahmadabuleil says:

I just got my 04 g35 serviced . after the mechanic showed me the misfiring spark plug, i told him replace it. 5 min later my car was ready. does that sound normal?

25rsboy says:

i still dont understand why new v6 motors are so rediculous when it comes to plug replacement…..

treborwal says:

Which specific tools are required for the maintenance, and the preferred types of
spark plugs?

TheDanimal1st says:

Question??? When I removed the two plugs (left and right) closest to the firewall, the spark plug silo had some oil in it although the plug spark gap was free from oil. I’m not leaking oil on the ground, losing oil, burning oil, etc. Do you have any idea where this oil may have came from?

TheDanimal1st says:

Dude! I opened the hood to replace the plugs and was dumbfounded (found dumb, yep). I’ve changed plugs many times in less sophicated vehicles w/o thinking about it. Googled how to change plugs in a G35 and found your video. All I can say is Wow! Everything was just as you said and a pix is worth a 1000 words. Didn’t take me long to do it. I really appreciate it. THanks again!

mrthemaster793 says:

thanks man sick ur a beast

cyphear02 says:

I believe my manual suggests every 100k.

FWIW, I’m at 110k (I believe the previous owner never had changed them) and it idles fine (usually the sign of [real] bad plugs).

Thanks for taking the time to make the video bythebayplayer. Your vids came in handy again!
