I actually just got the dashboard on my 2005 fx35 replaced for free at the
dealership. The recall is within 8 years of purchase and no milage limit.
Take the car or vin number so they can check their data base and they will
order the parts and set up the appointment.

peoples FX’s here in Oman or UAE etc. So what are you going to do about it?

That’s crazy lol. This generation I thought had a cheap looking interior. I
like the newer one’s better anyway they have better looking more upscale
interiors.
Not sure but it’s possible you may still be in luck as it’s an expensive
defect that isn’t brought on by the owner. Get on the horn with an Infiniti
dealer & find out! And if the dealer is hesitant, I’d cheerlead the issue
on here some more this way you’d have a stronger case if your were to
attempt contacting a higher office at Infiniti. Last thing Infiniti wants
is dirt on their prestiges image so they’d have to give in 😉
My mom car did the same exact thing but it was 10 times worse. Every time I
touch I get in trouble. And got blamed for it. A lot of people thought that
was a design! Lol but yea it’s ugly I hate it!
Infiniti has extended the full coverage warranty on this issue until Nov.
of this year regardless of milage and year. No money out of pocket for the
owner. make sure you call your local dealer and request an appt. for this
issue.
@uakronsam116 I’ve heard of them covering up when under warantee. But here,
the dealer who bought this needs to prep for a $800-$1800 repair. Unless he
got it dirt cheap & has room to invest that amount into it.

a suv that cannot go off road or tow? or a car that isnt that good at
handling? The FX is both

Just had mine replaced under extended free replacement. Was given a loner
car for free. Google the issue. Call your dealer.

our 06 Developed a Warped Dashboard…….it was replaced under warranty
though. we Now have a 2011.

The same thing happened a while back to mine and the dealer replaced the
dash, as the dashboard was under warrantee
i bought my FX45 from a used car dealership and my local Infiniti dealer is
replacing the dashboard next week under warranty.
They should issue a recall. This probably applies to the Murano as well as
it is the same basic vehicle.

Same issue. Same Car. They replaced Dashboard free under factory warranty.
thats sad, because these have everything else going for them, except for
the bad dashboards

@form109 dont put armoral on your dash…….armoral can fuck up your dash
depending on the car
