Correct, it should be a near identical process for the VQ20/25/30DE and
VQ30DE-K. VQ35 is slightly different, as are the HRs.
Have you tried actually watching the videos?
@Bear3015 No, I don’t think I ever got around to shooting/editing/uploading
the motor mount video. What is keeping you from taking it off, the through
bolt? If so, are you holding the nut on the backside with a wrench? That’s
where most go wrong with it.
@4inches4u My car’s at 330k, but it was an aftermarket pump that I removed,
who knows when it had originally been done. My other Maxima needed a water
pump somewhere around 70k. It had an OE pump in it, but that’s not to say
it hadn’t been changed before.
How the fuck you take the fuckin pump out.
Great video. This applies to the 5th gen 3.0 Maxima as well. Looks like my
water pump O-rings went bad at 240k and this video is pretty much a life
saver. Thanks man.
how many miles did this go at? i think i will b changing mine soon…
Did you even upload the right motor mount vid? I cant get the mount off.
