I appreciate your skill and willingness to do this video to contribute to
my understanding, and to contribute to our ability to understand. FYI I did
not appreciate the comment you made about “how women are”, as if all 3 or 4
billion of us have the same mo-and you know what that is. I wonder if you
think only men watch how-to fix their cars? .

Jeanettewareham11 says:

The only problem is having enough strength to loosen up any kind of bolts!
I’m thinking the more I work on my car..the buffer I will become! Ha! Lil
mamas going to get fitter! But anyways…thank you for this! I know where
the hell it is now!

I have an ’04 elantra and just replaced the thermostat…but when I filled
the system back up, coolant leaked from the thermostat housing. I used rtv
sealant and cleaned the housing with acetone as well. Thoughts?

Chuckles17 says:

Thanks for the video. My neighbour’s Elantra is overheating, and the
thermostat is probably the first thing I’ll be checking. Handy to have a
clue to the location, since I haven’t worked on a Hyundai before.

Thanks that was helpful

My girlfriends’s car just started overheating and this video was a BIG help
in locating where her thermostat was. I am a motorcycle mechanic, so things
are similar…but vastly different as far as orientation and size. Just
wanted to drop a line and say THANKS!

Rocky Luellen says:

ok my 2000 kia sportage over heating watched your video I think I need to
replace thermostat? also A/C stopped blowing cold. and you call Me

Mark Malcolm says:

Thanks, I have a 2006 Elantra, and just changed the thermostat- by telling
me to follow the bottom hose of my radiator I was able to locate it. Thanks
again.
